Sedation and Sleep Inducing

What's the difference between the two? Is it that Sleep Inducing can only make people sleep, while Sedation gives more of a drugged/general anaesthetic effect first? Before I thought SI was more immediate, but Andrea's limits say she can control whether the person falls asleep immediately or later.

i would say sleep inducing was immediate however i suppose it can vary

i guess the main difference is that sedation creates a drousy/tiring feeling and numbs the body whilst the other just focuses on causing the person to sleep rather than be sedated (i guess drug like induced sleep)

Thought so I want to give Sedation to a char, but I also want to separate out the limits first. Is there any chance you happen to remember which character is the only person to use Sedation through touch?
