Has to be AIT. Best suspense, best SL and best twists. None of the others have anything on it. Plus it i the only finale which is realistically up for contention as the best episode within its volume.

My favourite is "How to Stop an Exploding Man" S1 is my joint most favourite series along with S4 V5 but this episode just pulled everything off it tied up all answers from the whole series and left it on a cliff hanger ending of Hiro in 17th Century Japan. Sylar and Peter faced off, which I greatly anticipated and Charles Devoux became very mysterious.

H2SAEM was amazing! 
Didn't make sense to me, when I first watched it, because all I had seen was V3 and V4, and none of S1 or S2. First comment I made to Low was something like, "You saved the Cheerleader, so that we could save the world." Cheesy, and perfect!!!

To say volume 3 was arguably the worst volume, I thought it had the best finale. There's something about Sylar going around a dark building playing mind games.
For me the season 1 finale was the only disappointing one.
