She crept inside, tightening her grip on her pistol, aiming it before even scanning the first room, which was empty both of people and the occult.

She walked on further, checking more rooms, but the entire place was truly empty. After that, she began searching the place, looking inside every corner and cupboard. Nothing. Nothing witchy, and no sign of where the man would be.

She continued to search, further, but not finding much. There were details in an address book, which proved that he did know the others in this coven. Most of the belongings were still in boxes, since the house had only been recently bought. She continued to search. Eventually, she found a hidden panel behind one of the cupboards, and she grinned.

Her breath stopped for a moment, seeing it. True, she'd seen several altars in her short time hunting, blood and devilry and sacrifices were almost normal sights to her. But this was a bad one. A serious one. She closed it all up, hidden again, and tightened her grip on her weapons as she located a hiding place for herself. She'd wait for the man to return.

As soon as she saw him enter, she fired, 2, 3 shots. The first missed, deflected. The second struck his shoulder, and he twisted to avoid the third. She swore under her breath, firing again, while being thrown out of her hiding place.

She curled on the impact, but it was still enough to break her grasp on the gun, which was then sent spinning out of sight and any use. Moving to the next only betrayed it, so that it met the same fate. She tore herself to her feet, and threw herself against the man. He hadn't expected that. Her weight and momentum threw him backwards, winded as she landed heavily on him, her knee rising upwards to hit him in the groin. Seconds later, she was thrown away again. Pulling out her third pistol, she fired again.

She swore under her breath, since it was kinda obvious that that hadn't worked. Not letting herself be deterred, she simply continued to attack, another shot, another. When her ammo was gone, she dropped the gun, going for the physical attack again.

Searching online did little to help. Nothing seemed to like killing people by bears, and stalking stalkers. I tried to link it to the building, somehow, but the history was clean - one death. One of those glass cleaners, that had died by falling from several stories up. But he'd been cremated. I searched both of the victims backgrounds, trying to find something, and still, it seemed to be drawing up blank. Nothing fitted.

Again she managed to pin him down, using one arm to hold him while the other hit repeatedly, also blocking the punches he was trying to land on her head. He was kicking fiercely, struggling and writhing. It was taking all her strength to contain him, so she took a while to reach the dagger concealed at her belt. When she'd finally freed it, the struggling nearly knocked it out of her grip. But she tightened her hand, twisting it upwards with all her strength. She felt the resistance as it tore through skin and muscle and flesh, and then the blood pouring outwards.

She'd considering going for a drive - having swiped the keys as she'd exited - but then realised how likely she would be to crash in her current state of mind.
