Unlocking the door to her apartment, Zoe stepped in and threw her purse onto a chair with a sigh. She'd spent the entire day working a shift and a half in the diner, and it'd exhausted her. So much she hated that job. So much. She'd quit it, if not for the reasonable excuse of actually needing the living.

Tyler looked around him. He wanted to do something, lead something. But what? Tyler had recently dicovered he had an ability to make people do as he told them to. But he wanted more, he started to get bored with his simple ability. Greed started digging into his core and he couldn´t shake it off. He opened his eyes. The green pillow was soft against his skin, but he rose up from the bed and got dressed. Maybe that was the answer. He could gather people that wanted more, just like him. Tyler smiled and hoped there was people like that out there. He would begin his search, not now, but soon.

Raising her head, she walked over to the window. It'd been getting darker, and she sighed as she thought she'd see the clouds piling in. Typical that they'd do that now, just as she was free, after having been beautiful all day. However, the scene wasn't what she expected, and she froze, watching out, awed.

She continued to stare, as the sun was slowly eaten away, the eerie sight sending chills down her spine. The glowing golden corona seemed to draw her in. Was it meant to be that colour? She wasn't sure. She thought she'd seen another eclipse as a child, and didn't think that one'd been like this.

Dave saw the golden corona around the eclipse he saw outside the wondow and almost felt the moon. He had never felt like that before and he wondered why he suddenly did it this time. He had allways been fascinated by the moon but recently it had felt like he had been one with the moon. He shrugged and continued admiring the spectacural sight. He sighed a sigh that release all the stress from the work and he sat down on his sofa, still with a good view out towards the unusual eclipse outside. He felt at peace.

She continued to watch, transfixed and mesmerized. It felt like a loss when the shadow began to fade and the sun returned to view. She shook her head and turned away.

On my way back from the studio, and a rather tortuous lesson with the under sevens, and I looked up to regard the beautiful golden eclipse. I had never really cared for astromony, but it was so.. beautiful

Busy watching his action film with his younger brother, Robert only glanced up once at the window seeing the light fading. But he still looked. They all did. All entranced by this eerie eclipse even though they had no idea of how it'd change them.

Tyler turned on the tv and watched. It seemed a lot of crime had happened recently, and Dave just felt it had something to do with the eclipse. He decided to keep track on these events, maybe he could become "friends" with these people he thought. An idea were set into motion inside of him.

The next morning, Zoe had to wake up early to get ready for her morning shift. She did so speedily, and because she had some time spare she walked downstairs to get her post, waving at one of her neighbours as the man passed. She slowed down, and frowned as he did so. Something was upsetting him..... wait. How did she know that? It hadn't shown on his face, which had been completely set. She didn't know anything about his life. How had she known what he'd been feeling?

She shook her head, lowering her face as she continued on her way. She couldn't have known that.... she just couldn't. She thought that over and over, but it didn't change the truth, or the fact that she was getting similar glimpses from almost every person: emotions, or something troubling them, or a glimpse of what their thoughts were focused on.

Dave waked up the next morning and even if the moon couldn´t be seen, Dave felt where the moons position was. Dave wanted the moon to be visible so he could look at it, slowly clouds moved and the contours of the moon became clearer. That´s strange! Dave didn´t know what had happened, he only knew one thing, he was the one that had made the moon visible.

Leaving the house, going to work and trying to ignore these new insights to people she was getting, fascinating though they were, she looked up and noticed that the moon was in sight, just briefly. It sent a chill through her. That just wasn't natural, not at that time of day.

Tyler looked up at the sky, it was the moon. That couldn´t be real, a moon that was visible during this time of day? He scrattched his head and wondered if it had something to do with yesterday eclipse. He turned back to the tv. "Police have found another bank robbed and it seemed the crime scene has been electrified, and by the looks of it, it has to be another person with strange new attributes. We will come back after.." The man on the television was silenced by a blue lightning that hit him in the back head and a man with a robbery mask was now completely visible. Another blue lightning was shot and the camera man seemed to have died. The shot was back to the news and Tyler was bored again. He yawned and wondered if he would seek up the guy, but how. He didn´t know where all the other people like him were and how many that existed. He sighed, it was hopeless.

Queuing in the bank to pay in some money that afternoon, Robert glanced behind him as another person brushed through the doors. There was something about that man which placed him on edge, made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. He wasn't sure what it was, but it was there. Just something dodgy. Later, he couldn't have said he'd been surprised when the man had turned out to be a robber. But he had been surprised at the method: lighting his hands up with blue electricity and firing it at one of the staff, barbequing the poor woman. And he'd been even more surprised at what he himself had found himself doing.

Tyler needed to find someone that could help him find others like him, but where? Tyler let that thought grow in his mind and waited for him to get a bright idea.

He'd found himself running forwards out of his own control, and grabbing the man's wrist, twisting his aim so that he missed the second worker he'd been aiming for. When the man aimed his electricity at Robert instead, he'd made some incredible flip in midair to dodge it, impossible looking. His heart had been pounding. Still without thinking, he'd managed to flip and pin the man, keeping his hands firmly pointed to his own chest so he couldn't attack again. And then, when he'd calmed slightly and the adrenaline had stopped pounding as much, he realised why the move had seemed bizarrely familiar. He'd seen in last night, in that action film he'd watched.

Stunned, he froze for a minute, while the others in the bank just stared. Finally, one employee regained his wits enough to go to the emergency button and press it to summon the police. Once they arrived, Robert just fled the scene before he could be recognised.

I continued to walk home, barely even bothering to look around the crowds of people, but if I had, I would have noticed the completely blank stares everyone I passed had their faces

As soon as he'd arrived back at his pristine apartment, he poured himself a stiff drink and tried his best to just forget what had happened. He had a feeling that life wouldn't let him do so, however.
