John was out on the porch of the hotel he was in, suddenly someone rode up the town shouting about something, John got up and went towards him

What is it? John asked

The Sheriff says theirs something strange happened down by Bleeker's way and he needs everyone who can hold a gun down there

Don't know, some kinda strange shootin's,

Well i'll be there, just let me get my horse John ran off to the stables and got his horse, John went to wait at the town square, after 10 minutes every man who could fight (which was about 10 people) was waiting there on their horses, then they all began to ride towards Bleeker's way, when they arrived there were people from all over the region waiting around, with the sheriff on a platform

Right guys, there's been some sort of shootin's and reports of strange creatures doin it, so we're going be riding around lookin' for 'em

Right lads, time to move on out The sheriff called out, he turned his horse around and started to move towards the end of the town, he suddenly stopped when he saw someone on a horse galloping towards him shouting, eventually the rider stopped in front of the sheriff

Those creatures sir, their short and have domed heads and they were about 13 of 'em and they have a strange knida rifle, and sir...

Gethin was now in his car, heading down to London. Today was the day he was being moved, travelling over to London to be part of the Torchwood branch there. Cardiff was good, great even, but they already had a great leader there, now he could lead this team. Help them out.

He wouldn't if they had all seen his profile yet, as usually they would. Probably read about him or even what he was. Most of his history was a secret, he never revealed much about his childhood or anything previous before he was sent back by the weeping angel, but that was past now. And this was his future.

The sheriff turned round to the group of about 30 men who had turned out

Right lads, dismount and take up defensive positions The sheriff shouted out to the group, the group then all dismounted and moved their horses away before going into various defensive positions, some going into buildings

You the new guy? Lucie questioned, as Gethin entered the base.

He walked in, smiling with confidence. The place was different that he had expected and so were the people. Nice people. "Yeah, pleasure to meet you." He shook her hand.

"I'm Gethin." He replied. "So where's my station?"

This way, she led him to it, and also introduced him to the rest of the as-for-now-anonymous team.

Gethin introduced himself and placed his box of things on his desk. "Not a bad space." He said, admiring his section.

What were you expecting? she laughed, returning to her work.

"Well, something small, being the new guy and all." He laughed.
