Like Matt's developing to mind-control, or Tracy's to hydrokinesis? Basically, it'd have to be that their ability has always been the full extent with loads of aspects, but at the start they only knew of a small portion of it.

Also they can develop more when adrenaline is pumping through them. Like in the gns where sparrow used terra when falling out of the plane.

That's less obvious development though, like learning new aspects of it. It happens a lot.

i thought that was to do with the spirit walk- i always thought that anyway and he inherited it or somehow gained it from usutu. And now that i looked on the heroeswiki it says
"An illusion of Usutu appeared to Matt and told him he must become the prophet. Afterwards, Matt was able to access the same place of consciousness that other precognitives are able to (A Clear and Present Danger)."
First of all, what caused Usutu's illusion?
or was matt going loco?And how the heck does accessing some part of your consciousness allow you to forsee the future. If so, I guess the guy in limitiless will be a precog too. (although i havent watched the movie and he may well of been)

I think that going on the spirit walk kinda linked Matt to Usutu's consciousness - a bit like how Sylar's consciousness had clung to him - and then after Usutu's death he was communicating with him.

its pretty stupid thought and i guess they saught of lacked/didn't use him as much matt being a precog because they realised how stupid it was.
