I didn't do the same, but I did it logically, following the series again instead of choosing whichever random episode entered my head.

I started without logic but slowly it is slipping back to me because I watched attentively every episode between Season 3 Episode 3 and Season 7 Episode 17

I think the therapist would be very understanding and caring

Well we'll never know I'll get Spike as my therapist, he often offers emotional speeches or lines that make me want to die

I'm sure Spike wouldn't make an interesting therapist at all, and I'd never want to see that.
