Not exactly. There isn't really a word in English - or any other language apart from Welsh, since it only happens in Welsh - but "mutates" is close enough. Basically, the first letter changes.

Nah The letters changing. That and the Ch, Ll, Dd letters etc, which most English people would have trouble pronouncing.

Then you don't It isn't a K, but a lot of people do that if they can't say it right. In Gaelic the pronounciation even depends on location.
