Anyone seen that new series Touch about a special kid, created by Tim Kring. It aint bad

Jake's been telling me about it - heard it's amazing. Keep meaning to watch it

its good, still dnt get how its going to last more than a season. Its basically this boy who can see how the whole world is connected and how its people's destiny to meet and he helps people meet each other and be somewhere at a specific time.

Guess it'd just have to last through the importance of these meeting, and loads of different types

Who starts off a programme not wanting to have multiple series?

To me that sounds like starting one out wanting it to fail

my mum likes it too but even she said its going to be the same every week, just new people meeting others

it is cool but i cnt see it lasting unless they do something different.

I have seen the pilot, it is pretty okay, I think.

Maybe these people end up doing something? Know what you mean though, nothing could last if it's just meeting after meeting after meeting. But then I doubt it would be that.

He has to be getting these people to meet for a reason though, right?

yeah, like to stop an event from happening. So they are in the right place at the right time. For example, there was a school bus and this guy saved the kids, because he missed his train because the boys dad got in a fight with him.

Maybe the events they're stopping will become more important and interlinked?

highly doubt it, most of the people are all random and from all over the world.

My only guess would be that these meetings will become more important, like all these people will become vital together. The boy's manipulating events from a distance.

well surprisingly some of the people from the old episodes are being used again, although mostly its new people every episode. But it is cool to see how everything ties together and the doctor is also like the kid but not as good- well he started to be able to "see" things again

As in this doctor, whoever he is, knows who needs to be connected too? I've kinda forgotten what this programme's about

its kind of hard to explain but basically there are people out there who see how the world is connected. Its kind of like people are meant to meet each other, like its there destiny, and the people who can see this, its their purpose to make sure these people meet or else they feel ome sort of pain (as one of them said). But the people who can see how everything is connected, like the boy, doesn't speak so write symbols, numbers and pattern for his dad to help these people meet. Like it could be as simple as pressing the button at a traffic light, so a person can cross the street in time to get to a certain place at a specific time.

but the dad went to see a doctor who knows about this kind of stuff and he explained some of it. But then when the dad showed a picture of what his son drew, then you saw that doctor kind of figuring it out and the image became three-dimensional to the doctors view. Basically he was able to see the patterns again, he must of lost the power to do it before.
