She grinned, waiting for him to exit and for everyone to be back in place before returning to the head of the aisle. She took her place beside Mark again. This time, there was no interruption. Her expression was almost glowing throughout the ceremony, as they exchanged rings and vows, were pronounced husband and wife.

Wedding ceremony over, they proceeded to the reception, held in another area of the courtyard hidden around a corner of the building. It'd fallen dark by now. The place was lit by little teal candles placed surrounding each centrepiece on every table.

Danny kept Rhi in his line of sight and once the ceremony was over, he picked her up and was quite intent on not letting go. He made a quick phone call to check on the nanny and how Ollie was, but when he was informed everything was okay, he let it slide.

Elan was about to argue that it wasn't true, that he was in fact a terrible singer - the worst she'd ever heard - but she silenced as Lola and Mark took to the floor for their first dance. She just watched, smiling slightly. Rhi soon got bored and raced over to where Magda and Stephan were, thinking that maybe they'd want to play.

After they'd finished with the cake, the reception moved on to the speeches. Then it was time for people to leave, Mark and Lola being the first. She tossed her bouquet wildly into the air behind her as she headed towards the carriage.
