Heroes RP World 2 - Reflections

Jack returned home hours later, everyone was in bed at the house by now and he had not told Tracy about the events of that day, Jack didn't even explain why he will be back later in fact Jack didn't look at his phone since his last phone call with his brother. Entering the house and opening the large oak door Jack pulled out his phone. He had seven miscalls from his Wife. Jack looked at the stairs and headed straight towards them but instead of going to his room he went to his children's. He kissed them all goodnight and then retreated to his room where Tracy lay asleep on the bed angelically. She looked so graceful, elegant and majestic but she didn't know the truth. She didn't know what had happened and it would of killed Jack to tell her. He changed his clothes and rolled into bed, wrapped his arms and Tracy and kissed her on the cheek gently to not wake her.

(i know but it is always the simplest and easiest way and im always surprised that no one ever suggests it )

(No one suggests it because we don't want to use it, but most of the time it would work  I do have an eventual idea, btw)

The second he saw her, Alec just grinned and froze time. That seemed to be a game of his. He'd been playing it since he was a few weeks old. Dani just sighed and restarted time. Additional opportunity to think was the last thing she needed right now.

It was obvious something was wrong with Jack, Tracy had been meaning to ask him when she got the time to be alone with him. She took the children to school and day care whilst Zander stayed at home with the pair. Tracy approached Jack who was sitting helplessly in the garden under the willow tree which looked at gloomy as the man underneath it. 

"Jack." Tracy called from the house. She began walking towards him with Zander in her arms and when she approached him she sat down and let go of the infant who began walking around the tree. Tracy kept a watchful eye on him and looked at her husband. "What's wrong hun?" She asked gently, knowing something was wrong. Very wrong. 

Only if she knew, Jack thought. But he had to tell her, how could he not? Slowly the words began to unravel from his mouth barely making sense but enough to inform Tracy what had happened. Jack tried to stay strong like he always did and watched Zander run playfully without a care in the world. Zander ran up to his mother and tried pulling her hand to make her run with him. 

"Not now Zander." Tracy said as the tears began rolling down each one rubbed away by her lovers hand.

Jack and Tracy embraced in a hug to which Zander tried to become part of. He eventually got in and began giggling. Jack couldn't pull a smile not now but put Zander in his arms knowing that he would not undertand what had happened. 

"Have you seen Peter yet?" Tracy asked.

"No. I called him but I don't know what to say. You know I'm not good with this kind of stuff- who is? I want to be there for him but I feel like I'm useless. I'd rather do something about reversing what has happened." Jack replied frustrated.

(How old is Zander? Just curious)

After spending the morning around the house, she decided to go visit her family in the afternoon. Alec hadn't seen his grandparents in a few weeks anyway. She closed her eyes and teleported, arriving outside the house. She rang the doorbell.

Hey honey, Daphne greeted her, cooing at Alec as she took the one year old from her. I heard what happened... I'm so sorry....

Dani swallowed the almost constant lump in her throat.

So am I.... kinda don't want to talk about it.... about him...

(probably around 2 1/2)

(I thought he was a baby when adopted )

(he was. well maybe about 2.)

(Baby = not two Two is a toddler )

Daphne nodded. She could understand that. She explained that she'd been in the middle of painting and redecorating the house. Dani volunteered to help. It'd be a distraction. Soon she and her mom were painting while Alec insisted upon decorating the wall space he could reach with bright finger paint marks.

(i meant he may be about two now. he was probably six-10 months old when adopted)

(I really doubt over a year has passed You should have told us - Barbara should have had her triplets by then, Hannah should have had her second kid by Pippy's planning, so should Dani...)

(i dnt intuitively know how fast everything goes on around here. We should have at least a rought idea e.g. 1 month in real time is six months in rp time)

(It works as the speed it gets RPed Hardly anyone RPing for ages = slow RP time. That's what's happened this year)

(oh okay. Well i could just say that he was adopted when he was around 10-12 months and he is about a year and half now.)

(Sure It's weird, he'd be older than Alec then )

"Come inside, It's starting to rain." Tracy said picking up Zander. Jack followed shortly behind and locked the back door. He walked straight to the study and began working.
