The Name Of The Doctor

Just watched it (late, I know), and I'm generally horribly confused.... who was that last doctor? Was he one of the earlier ones (I don't think so, somehow) ? But that'd mean he'd have to be a future reincarnation, and then how does past and present him know he's done something so horrendous that he hides the name?

Also, I'm still not entirely clear on what the GI ever was - is it supposed to be that way? Is that still unclear? And I thought that this place was meant to cause the end of the world somehow, or was that only if he did speak his name aloud?

Loved the explanation of Clara though I guessed it (only a few minutes before, but still ). Kinda liked using the leaf to draw her back, too.

In a way, I was disappointed that he did manage to save her then, even though I didn't want to lose her already. It just cheapened the moment

And what's going on with Riversong? Since when is she now a projection from when he managed to save her memory after her death? I just thought that moment was meant to be in the future for her!!

i guess it was her future at that particular point in her moment.

She was saying she was just a memory though. That's what had me confused.
