Reptilian And Amphibian Mimicry

The ability to mimic reptiles and amphibians. It can be used to transform into snakes, tortoises, turtles, crocodiles, alligators, lizards, Komodo dragons, newts, salamanders, frogs and toads.

Quicksand Generation

The ability to create quicksand. It can be used to transform any form of ground into quicksand, thus trapping people, potentially killing them and sucking away objects which are blocking one's path. One can also revert the quicksand back to its natural form.

I was trying to come up with more abilities beginning with Q for some reason.

Dream Espionage

The ability to spy on the dreams of others. When the ability is used, the person whose dreams are spied on must be asleep and dreaming, obviously, and oneself will enter a trance which could potentially last as long as the dream lasts, unless one deliberately breaks it. One isn't present in the dream, and one's spying presence can't be detected. The ability can be used to gain an insight into people's minds, their desires and fears. It can also be used to access precognitive knowledge from dreams, and to gain some warning of what someone with Oneiric Creation, Oneiric Reality Manipulation or Oneiric Mimicry could do.

i like it. not sure on the name tho- although it sounds similar to dream walking?

Nah, Dream Walking actually involves going into the dream, changing it, talking to people in their dreams etc. This one is purely information gathering from dreams.

Diamond Shield

The ability to produce a shield made of diamond, as often included in Diamond Manipulation. The shield can protect against physical attacks and projectiles, as well as several energy-based ability attacks. However, it normally wouldn't protect against mental attacks. It could also prove vulnerable to lasers, since these (I think) are used to cut diamonds in reality.

Limb Morphing

The ability to transform one's limbs into the limbs of other animals. For example, it could be used to turn one's arms into wings (birdlike or batlike) in order to fly, or it could turn one's arms and legs into fins. It could mimic a kangaroo or ostrich's legs to gain that species' hopping or kicking strength.

Limited Regeneration

The ability to automatically heal oneself, but only from severe or life-threatening injuries. It could heal injuries which would otherwise be fatal, or would leave one paralysed etc, but it would have no effect on small cuts and bruises. Possibly major bone breaks would heal but more minor/smaller ones wouldn't. Similarly, it'd heal life-threatening illnesses and poisonings.

Limited Healing

The ability to heal others only in life-threatening or severe situations.

Limb Animal Morphing?

i like the other two

emotion absorption - the ability to absorb a type of emotion from a person so they no longer feel like that. however, the one absorbing it will take on that emotion at first.

I think Limb Animal Morphing just sounds awkward I don't think the animal part is needed, cause you're just switching one form of limb to another species' limb.

I think I like Dream Viewing.

oh yeah, your right. limb morphing works.

not permanent just temporary. however you could possibly make someone feel like an 'empty shell' by being emotionless (temporarily).

I was just thinking, it'd be a real pain writing a character as permanently lacking an emotion after the ability'd been used on them I think I could struggle even short term with the all emotions one. If it's a particular emotion removed, you could just work around by avoiding situations which should evoke the emotion until they've healed.

that is just an option, but by absorbing all the emotions from a victim you could make them feel like that. It will mostly just be used to absorb one emotion at a time, like grief.

It'd be a pain. There's a reason I avoid using the emotion-lacking abilities like Apathy

the suggestions will be more thought out, and be strategical. Plus it could be used all the time to come up with a quick solution to a problem.
