she didnt know angelas power, and she couldnt trust angela as she knew about them using her as a baby... she didnt know peter until they met in his apartment and didnt know what his power was.
although peter said that his dad took his powers, she still didnt know whether to believe it or not, and didnt really listen much as it wasnt her business

she did, but she wasnt familiar with what abilities were out there, and from hearing that somebody can see the future and can heal she wouldnt automatically think that he has empathic mimicry
