think about it, as being adopted she grew up not knowing her real parents,s he got a good job (even if she did sleep with her boss) she written her own biography, she has her own apartment/house

Being adopted simply means she depended on adoptive parents instead of birth ones. And the fact that she had to sleep with him to get ahead!

well later when she had an ability, she may of realised that life was living, that she had a nephew, that she could be a hero! and she was, she saved micah, in order to sacrifice herself!
