Nervously, Swift approached the city, screwing her eyes up against it's light. She didn't know why she was so anxious. After all, she'd been here before, and now she knew that a part of her belonged here, in the witches' world. But that was it. She didn't know how coming here would change her. And a part of her wanted to turn her back, run away, run back to her childhood home and return to her old life. Even though it was too late for that.

Soon, she was close enough to see the gates, which were firmly shut. They hadn't been so, last time. But of course, the city was on lockdown because of all the witch killings. She swallowed, gathering her courage, and approached them. She knocked once.

Eventually, Swift was let in, after the guards confirmed she was not a threat, being non-human and from some of their allies. She walked inwards nervously, gazing around with wide eyes. Things had changed so much since the last time she'd been here. The city was cold, silent. Or maybe it just seemed that way because of what she knew.

Gathering her courage, she made her way to the second level, and to the area where the witches' knowledge of other races and powers were stored. If there were answers anywhere, there'd be some here.

Mykah plummeted into the bushes below. She hit the ground.
Ow....
She groaned as she got up. Brushing dead leaves off her, she began to run. She had no idea where she was going to go. The things she had packed would only last her at the most a week.She continued to run, bending down to avoid branches and jumping over fences. Her athletics training was coming into good use now. She felt a change in ground texture. She was now running on sand. Knowing that there was just one thing that she could do, she ran faster. Reaching water, she dipped her bag slightly in water and hardened it. She dove into the sea and quickly swam off.

Once inside, she began to search. She soon found descriptions of the spell her creator must have used; she vaguely recognised them from what the woman had said herself, as well as the effect described. But she soon moved on. This was just too weird.
She began searching for anything on water spirits, thinking she might as well discover her true heritage, as it was. But everything was vague. She sighed in frustration.

Spirits? Not much known about that, but I know a little. I only know it from what I've learned from other creatures. They're powerful, immaterial beings, with the ability to manipulate the element they belong to. In the wild, they manage the natural patterns of that element. And it's possible to trap one in a form, a created form most likely.....

Ask other races. Other mer-creatures would likely know more of water spirits, and the creatures of the elements would know the most. Like dragons, phoenixes. They're hard to get at, though. They live in remote areas to protect themselves.

I fly off in the direction to my homeland. The legend of the four dragons is only a legend, i never knew it was real. The battle of the 4 gods of fire, earth wind and water will be approached by us. Paradise dragons get a free pass through to paradise, unseen to the 4 gods, but chloe wasnt a dragon, she would be noticed...
