I think they were trying to get away from the whole 'no character's really dead because they can be brought back to life again with regen blood' thing

Re: An Invisible Thread
It'd have been mostly the same though. The only difference would have been that terrorist instead of Ted, I think. Since Sylar only looked different since ZQ hadn't been cast yet.

Re: An Invisible Thread
yeah I know it would have been interresting but it probably wouldn't lead on to anything else like S1 does

Sylar's blood wouldn't work.

That's not certain. But yeah, a full regenerator like Claire's blood would be more likely to

It could but Sylar can switch his powers on or off at will

Re: An Invisible Thread
Maybe if they injured Sylar at the same time as they injected the blood, forcing him to use regeneration?

Re: An Invisible Thread
But I doubt it. And I think it kinda is. Peter didn't heal Nathan, he got Adam to do it. So why would Sylar be able to heal with his blood? Claire was born with it, so I think that's why her blood works, but I dont think Syl's would.

Re: An Invisible Thread
Adam was the one who knew the blood could heal others, though. And he'd hardly point out to Peter that his own blood could also possibly do the same

Re: An Invisible Thread
Yes but future Peter would have more understanding about regenerating and using his blood to help others also Claire found out her blood could heal people

Re: An Invisible Thread
well he was with Nathan when he died on the operating table but then touched him and Nathan woke up kinda like Linderman's power only Linderman can't bring people back to life as shown in the graphic novels and stated by the writers

Re: An Invisible Thread
In Volume 3? I don't think he intended to revive Nathan though, judging by his reaction when he did. He might not have known he had that ability. So that's why he didn't try giving Nathan his blood, and why he told Claire to stay at home when she tried suggesting to use hers

I would have loved if Peter had shot Nathan in the church, it would have been hilarious like 'he got shot...AGAIN!'
