A man walks over to her and introduces himself as Kaito (Not Nakamura, just a Kaito.) He speaks Japanese, and explains what LOTUS is.

Kaedo wiggles in her arms, and Ami puts her on the group. She had just learn to walk. She began walking over to the door, and Ami was about to stop when it opened and in walked Nathan and another smaller pretty girl.

Kaedo goes straight for Dani legs in a plea to be picked up. Ami nods and yes she is very grateful for what you did.

"You are very nice people..." SHe offers her (BRB!)

Dani picks up Kaedo and starts swinging her up and down, playing with her and laughing.

Thanks. But we're just trying to help people like us.......do you have any idea why they were after you?

"Her, I think." She looks mournful then adds, "She really likes you." She was talking to Daniella.

"No.. you can hold her, if you like. She well.. she's special too. She can... like you, Nathan. She can.." Looks at Japanese man, Kaito and he translates for her.

"She can heal from any wound, she has Graviational Manipulation and she can teleport throught time and space." He modified it so it made more sense, and Ami listened and tried to remember the english.

Both of us can. And I think about half of the people working with LOTUS can, if they have the same policy as we have in the Organisation, in America and Europe.

What is LOTUS? What does it stand for? Did you two start it or something?

No, it's got nothing to do with us. They're just the company which looks after people with abilities in Asia. I think it's been going on for centuries. There's a similar one in Australasia, called BOOMERANG, and the Organisation in America and Europe. My Mom cofounded that one.

"Oh, WOW! Well, thank you. This is a nice place. So you two can both do what my daughter can do? Is that a common ability? Or are you lot just uncommon people?"

Kaedo began to cry, and I knew she wanted to be put down, I showed her a happy picture and she stopped.

"I think she is tired... she missed out on a lot of her afternoon nap. And she doesn't like strange places..." I smiled at Nathan and Dani to show that I was happy to stay and talk all day.... Just Kaedo was bored.

"Oh, yes. This little one is tired." Her voice turns into a coo, "Yes you are, oh yes you are! Do you have an english phrase book, I could use please? I need to improve my english..." I smiled again, I was beginning to like it here, and all the people.

"OH! I left all the clothes and things in the car!"

"Goodnight, and thank you!"

Ami unpacks all the stuff, including the travel cot and puts Kaedo in it. She reasures her she will be changed in her jammys in a second then changes into her pyjamas.

In a few seconds, Kaedo is fast asleep, and Ami curls up into her comfy bed

I didn't know you liked kids so much, Daniella. You were amazing with her!

She laughs. She looks down for a while until she stops blushing. She'd never admit that she was imagining playing with their child.

It was nothing. She's a cute baby. And I've had plenty of practice recently with baby you.

Ami reads the phrasebook for a while, then turns the light off. She didn't expect to sleep well, as she rarely does away from her own bed, but she slept wonderfully and awoke refreshed.

She checked on Kaedo asleepin the crib beside the bed and took a quick shower. She changed and when she was back out, Kaedo was sitting expectantly in her crib. She appeared to have been waiting for me.
