Eventually, Peter left, teleporting away with the children. Dani left soon after, going to meet him though she didn't tell Nathan that.
She didn't ask him why. She already knew. She didn't ask if he'd thought about what it'd do to those he was leaving behind, knowing that alone could stop him.

Peter had returned home, to the house which still echoed emptily of loss, broken. No longer a home. The 3 children ran to him, clinging to him fiercely, almost as if they sensed that they'd soon be letting go for real. Seeing them, he forced a smile for them, and lifted them up.
