World 5- The Formula

She moved to sit down, but didn't make it, grasping onto the couch, as ice formed, and fixed her to it, as she stared gaping at the TV.

That's me! she exclaimed, staring at the screen.

It showed flickering images taken on a poor quality camera, although it was clear enough. A blonde woman, with dirty streaks along her face, was strapped to an unclean metal bench. And it was definatly Tracy.

When was this, Tracy? Do you know? he asked, concern in his tone since it was clear from the footage that the experience would have been an ordeal.

Cynthia sat down at the table, facing Scarlett who was oppisite here. There was silence, they poth picked at their food.

"So............hows school?"

Scarlett picked at her food and looked up

"Very schoolish.."

Cynthia put down her fork

"Listen, I can't help you with school...or boys...I never picked the right ones. However, I can teach you yout strengths to your ability"

Scarlet finally seemed interested

"How?" Cynthis got up and smiled

"Honey this may be a mans world but that doesn't mean us women aren't capable of doing the things they can."

Her hands lit with radiation
"Sure you can make flowers grow but thats not going to stop the people that want to hurt you."

That's never happened to me! she protested, still focused on video. Several seconds later, the screen went black. The tape pushed itself out of the machine and even though she hadn't noticed earlier, she saw the words written on the tape. It was clearly legable.

Nathan, whispered Tracy, confused. How is that me?

It can't be.... he hesitated, as an idea struck him. Didn't you say you'd found out you were one of triplets?

Niki's dead, she whispered, reaching for Nathan's hand. And that's not me.

She continued to stare into space. She really wanted to find her sister.... to find out what was happening, but there was no way they were going to pay criminals.

Nathan... what do we do?

But how? she whispered, trying to sound like herself. If that was her sister - and it definatly was - then she had to find out... She had to save her, because she couldn't let her own sister die, could she?

(How would they find out? Is it possible to trace the tape?)

Hmmmm.... Wait for the call.

(they've not even checked for fingerprints or checked to see if theirs DNA on it, amateurs )

(Plus Nathan received a tape of "Tracy" being held ransom. Since Tracy was with him at the time, they realised it was Barbara being held, and are planning how to rescue her)
