Both of them shrugged and went off. Cody had glowed off to the garden and watchied the horses. He began to run around them and soon sat down in the tree house.

He did save us. He can us our abilities back. I can teleport us away. It's him who can't be saved.

I stared at him, transfixed. What? Why wasn't he healing? Why wasn't he moving? Why?! I shouted. I grapped his arm, and pulled him to his feet. He wasn't there... He was dead?! But he couldn't be... he had gotten immortality. He was alive. He had to be. How could he be dead? How could an immortal die?!

M-M-Mum! she screamed, at the top of her voice. Her panic scared me, and I ran back out. I'd come back for Gabriel.
