As she'd known he would be, he was standing there on the threshold, illuminated in the faint glowing light spilling out. Tall, slim build, with dark hair and tanned skin, stubble thickly lining his jaw. Fatigue showed in his brown eyes, and his worn clothes showed travel and battle. She gasped.

I saw that Tannith had left the end of the passage without a door. This was good. I had gathered a bucket of the blood I had been spewing up and painted the walls with it, it gave off an odd smell. A nice smell, even. I went back out into the passage to revive a key hole I had made for this. I threw it into the room and saw a door form where there hadn't been one before. The key hole was in the middle of a large bloodred door. I had made a key to match the hole. After slipping them both together the key turned without me moving it. I pictured the room I wanted in my head and saw, as the door opened, that the room had come to life. It had worked. My secret room that took on the shape I wanted It to. A room of requirement.

I took the key from the hole and put it on a golden chain which was around my neck. The rooms of the walls were deep red, as was the celing. A large sofa was sat in the middle of the room, lying across it were large fluffy pillows. A shaggy rug was flat on the floor. Mirrors were all over the walls, sometimes a fire place and sometimes a television. It smelt of honey and lime. This place felt homey.

Lleucu smiled, her telepathy kicking in and informing her he was speaking the truth. She was relieved. She wondered briefly why he didn't recognise her, then realised she didn't fully look like herself in her old life.
She's this way, she gestured, beginning to flit upstairs. When she glanced back, she saw she was losing him so she slowed down.

Sorry for that, she apologised, and he nodded his acceptance. He didn't seem at all phased by her speed. But then, he was the son of an ex-Hunter, wasn't he?
Once he'd caught up with her once more, she led on, careful to stick to human speed this time. She knocked on the door of Tannith and Tomas' room.
