World 5- The Formula

What do we do now? I whispered, my voice hoarse. I didn't have to raise it, since Peter was right beside me. Do we move, warn the others?

I've already tried. But none of them were at the base, and I don't know where they live....I couldn't risk leaving a message...

We'll get to them in time, I murmured, in truth trying more to reassure myself than anything else.

(The real Peter eventually convinced Sapphire that the one she'd killed had been a shapeshifter infiltrating the group. They've concealed that death by burning the apartment down with the body within)

Aidan felt a thrill when Dawn touched him and Aidan felt a little embarassed for reacting. He went inside the restuarant with Dawn and gestured Dawn to sit down on the table he had booked. It was not the most luxorous resturant, but it had cost most of Aidans money. But he didn´t care, just as Dawn was happy. Now they just had to wait for them to be able to order.

She smiled and watched as the waitor poured a drink all over him. She giggled and laughed, explaining it was an illusion. She had managed to cast it so that only he saw it.

Aidan became first very upset on the waitor and when Dawn said it was a joke, they both laughed. But, Aidan saw the others faces, like if he was crazy or something. But he didn´t care, the only thing that mattered was that he was here with Dawn.

"So how have you been?" She asked, putting down the menu.

"Actually, I have been thinking on you a lot." Aidan felt the embarassment come back and his face become pretty red. Stupid. That sounded more lame than it did in your head. "But otherwise, good." He avoided Dawns look as he knew he would get even more red if looking in her eyes.

"That's good. So tell me about yourself." She hoped she didn't sound too bossy.

"There isn´t much to tell, I went to school and lived a normal life, graduated and moved out. But all got unnormal when I got this, Aidan pointed at himself but he knew Dawn would understand what he meant. Something else you want to know about me? Otherwise, I´m more interrested in you, tell me about yourself.

Aidan blushed and he was almost as red as a tomato by now. "I don´t know what to say, you´r amazing too Dawn." Aidan took the courage to look Dawn straight in the eyes and beccame almost lost in them.

Dawn blushed, immediately. She had not felt so special, so treated well and looked after'd. Was he the one? "We better order." She muttered out. Dawn had never been good with conversation, espicially one's that involved herself and especially one's that talked about her feelings.

What are you laughing over? he asked curiously, and I grinned.

Just the idea of my racing around the country trying to find everyone, I answered easily. It'd be impossible.

Don't worry about it, he reassured me, pulling me closer and pressing his lips to mine. We'll find a way to warn them. And they'd be careful anyway.

I nodded, though this was different: we'd never anticipated an insider. We'd never expected any to betray us, or to have a spy in our midst. How could we have? But I also knew he was right, and that worrying over it incessantly would change nothing.

Aidan looked down on his menu. "I guess we should." After a while , Aidan looked up again and asked. "What will you have, I can´t decide."

You. She thought, and then wished he didn't have one of these powers that could allow him to read her mind. "Ermm... I'll have the salad." Dawn spoke out, looking down at the menu. It was the cheapest option and she didn't want to make Aiden spend too much on her.

"Are you sure? Don´t you want something more luxourous?" Aidan felt his heart pound and he couldn´t take it anymore. He leaned over their table and prepared himself to kiss Dawn, he wasn´t an expert, in fact this was one of his first times he kissed a woman. He hoped he didn´t make an misstake.

She looked up and heard his voice, then saw him go towards her, slowly. She was shocked, at first but then too went to meet his lips with hers. There across the table she kissed him. Unwillingly she couldn't pull away, too engadged in the kiss to let go and pull away.

Aidan was to gripped in the moment to stop the kiss, he just felt in heaven. He closed his eyes.
