The five of them did disappear, and reappeared, now standing in what would have normally appeared - at first glance anyway - to be a large, normal office room. However, the place was in uproar. The desks and equipment were all flung up against the wall, with torn paper and chunks of wall still flying in the air. Even more obvious than that was the think stench of blood.

All were immediately struck by this damage, and wondered what could have happened. Apart from them, there was no one else left here. None alive. Tannith moved her way through the room, examining the wreckage, judging it. The place seemed torn apart. It looked like there'd been a struggle, but quite a one-sided one.

What happened here? Matt finally voiced the question he was sure everyone else was also thinking. Do you think someone else found out first, and attacked before we came? Like allies? Or a future target?

(Nah, this was never meant to be going after him, personally. They'd found out about his superiors/the people giving him orders, not him)
Matthew tried and failed to find some kind of trail or sign they could follow, feeling the same obvious disappointment as Dean. He wondered why Pippa wasn't doing the same. She was by far the best tracker within their group.

(After Pippa met Sylar again, some of the things she said inspired him to go kill the vampires who'd been hiring him before. The coven have just seen the results of this. Plus, the coven have been seeing connections between loads of recent attacks on them, and learning that the Malus survivors are behind this, so they're going to be planning an attack against the Malus again. Bea's dad foresaw that she'd die in this attack, and has warned her, but she hasn't told anyone)

As soon as they returned, Tannith immediately travelled to the grounds to Ariana's home, knocked heavily on the door and awaited an answer.
