That's so.. you, I smiled, thinking of how perfect a Paris wedding would be.

That's so amazing!! I said.. so beautiful.

How come you never took me to the World Fair in Paris? I asked Gabriel teasingly. He laughed.

You're the one who can teleport! he protested, jokingly.

I don't think it's as special if you can get there on your own, Daphne commented. That's why he took me then and not just to Paris nowdays.

Anyway, trying to plan a proposal for a telepath would have to be hard enough, she pointed out. That'd been why Gabriel's had been so spontaneous

This way, I began walking in that direction. Arriving, I rang the doorbell, then awaited an answer.

Rue stood next to her, one hand in her pocket and staring at the door. She shook her head, trying to stay where she was and not wandering the halls, spotting lost things and things underneath the couch and drawers. She blinked a few times.

We didn't have to wait long. Within five minutes, the butler came to the door, and I asked if we could see Angela. Nodding, he let us in. Angela rose to her feet as we entered the room.

Rue, she greeted. I knew you would find us soon.

"How did you know that?" Rue asked, raising one eyebrow. "Someone here who can predict the future?"

I see it in my dreams, she admitted.

"Oh," Rue muttered, nodding. "That's kinda cool, I'd find it annoying though."

Rue swallowed back most of them, leaving them to be asked at a later date and asked the first one that came off her tongue. "Why did you give me up?" she asked, having never gotten a straight answer from anyone.

Angela shook her head, looking pained for a second.

I was very young, when I became pregnant with you, she answered. I didn't have much money, and I didn't have any idea of how to raise a child.... I thought it'd be for the best.

"Ah," Rue said, nodding. "I get you, I was the accident. You chose a pretty crappy foster home." She smiled to her and chuckled a little.

I didn't choose any home, she replied. I gave you to some friends of mine, they were meant to raise you.

"I wonder what happened to them then," Rue said, thinking for a second. She brushed her hair from her face with her fingers.

I lost contact with both after a few years, she frowned.
