My abilities, opinions?

Pippy's made something similar - Mental Trapping. That can be used on oneself too, though, and the mental world can be anything, from a nightmare to that person's dream, to just sheer surreality.

What would you call the ability to move only one's hands at a rapid speed? You couldn't run like Daphne does, but you could move your hands so quickly the movement would appear instantaneously.

What would you call the ability to grow a prehensile tail at will, making it disappear completely when unneeded?

Enhanced Hand Speed, Hand Speed, Accelerated Hand Motion?

Tail Production?

What about Hand Acceleration?

Nail Extension

The ability to extend one's nails until they become dangerous weapons. The extended nails and long and sharp, and can vanish back into the nail bed when retrieved, leaving only normal nails.

Subconscious Questioning

The ability to question another person's subconscious. The ability can push a question into another person's mind and get an answer, but the person would be unaware of the question even when answering it, and wouldn't remember anything afterwards.

What about the 2 other name suggestions? They sound Ok?

What would you call the ability to both give and delete abilities, turning NEHs into EHs and vice versa? Not even sure if I'd use the ability though I need an explanation for some characters gaining abilities, I'd like to come up with something more original and different than Ability Granting but I don't know if I'll succeed.

Ability Conceding?

Conceding means giving up, yielding or surrendering on something Not exactly suitable. The character wouldn't be sacrificing his/her own abilities.

Infection Suppression

Basically, a stronger form of the Viral Suppression Josh mentioned in W8 ages ago. The ability to suppress any kind of infection. It could suppress viruses, bacteria, prions, any kind of pathogen. Sometimes, early stages of the ability only suppresses enough to remove symptoms/heal the ill person while keeping him or her infectious to others, while a more developed form could remove it entirely.

(We could also have a Viral Suppression which only suppresses viruses, but I think that'd only be of use in a world where you had the Shanti virus working. Josh didn't use it in W8, just mentioned that healers could develop the aspect and that it could be an independant ability)

Shadow Cloaking

The ability to disguise and hide oneself by cloaking oneself in shadow. It prevents others from noticing oneself or recognising one's identity.

Heat Inversion

The ability to inverse heat energy, turning fire into coldness or ice, and coldness into heat and fire. It can be used to produce fire and ice if the opposite conditions exist, and can also give oneself immunity to temperature changes.

Light Inversion

The ability to inverse light, turning light into darkness and darkness into light.

What'd you call the ability to just absorb heat, creating coldness and ice, such Heat Absorption is taken with something more complex? Similarly, what would you call the opposite ability to absorb coldness producing heat?

The ability to deflect away attention and prevent others from paying attention to oneself. It stops others from noticing you.

Precognitive Answering

The ability to make yourself answer questions about the future correctly. The ability can be activated at will whenever someone asks you a question, and the answer will always predict the future. You will remember the answer and will thus know about the future. However, questions asked yourself cannot be answered. Questions about the past or present don't get an answer.

Perfect gif It isn't like imperceptibility or invisibility or any of those, they all work by hiding from the senses or from a particular sense. With this one, the person would actually be visible, but it'd be really hard for any person to notice that they're perceiving them. I got the concept from a book

Heat Absorption and Coldness Absorption really, but the problem is that the name Heat Absorption is already used. I dunno. It was just an idea. Another of the opposite ability sets.
