Magda shook her head, also staring into the flames, which were slowly dying away. She could see some of Jane's ashes forming.

I can recognise the signs, I've seen them enough. And it isn't something that can be handled. If you don't hunt, it'll get worse and worse, until you can't control yourself and you'd start attacking people. Is that what you want?
