"What? Leaving so soon?" Simon said, astonished as Tannith said her goodbyes to them.
"But we haven't shown you hardly anything! Please stay!" Madison begged. But it was too late. Tannith was gone. Tears pricked at her eyes.
THIS MORNING
"How long has she been in there?" Jess asked Simon, her fingers entwined with Raiden's. They were standing outside the door to Madison's room.
"Since Tannith left." Simon answered. "She won't come out, poor thing."
Shinju appeared from around the corner.
"Let me try." she said. The others stepped aside so she could go into Madison's room. When they hung around, Shinju shooed them away so they went to find the other four.
