I did, I have yet to see the end of season 4 and any of season 5 though. As the show went on it seemed to become more focused on serious spy stories and I lost interest. For me it was always best in season 1 when it was mostly comedy.

I've seen a few people with that view shrug Maybe I just feel differently cause I only watched it/caught up on it during the middle of S4, after Pippy recommended it about a million times.

What can I say? I didn't know enough people that watched Chuck Wink I can't say Season 1 was my favourite but I did like the earlier seasons a bit more than the later ones, especially season 5. However, I don't think Season 1 was more centric on the comedy, just that it was easier to make things funnier when Chuck couldn't really defend himself but I don't know, there's quite a lot of people out there that'd agree with you

Yeah, but wouldn't it have gotten boring if he couldn't defend himself and was a semi-useless spy for all seasons?

Stay in the car Chuck is brilliant but it had to evolve as a show and honestly seeing Chuck in Season 1 is just adorable now because I know how amazing he becomes and seeing Sarah because you know how she falls in love and I love it more because of that!

I've been watching the DVD's and still stand by my opinion that there was more humour earlier on, not even just because Chuck had no experience. Even the episode where Ellie was poisoned remained pretty lighthearted compared to how much the drama was pushed forward in later seasons.

My new favourite moment has to be Jeff trying to eat 90 twinkies, Casey didn't care until Morgan said he might die, at which point he ran to watch.
