Even though he'd noticed it, he didn't protest, or point it out at all. He just left the room as soon as he could, going upstairs before she could hear his thoughts and realise. Once he thought she was out of hearing range, he took out his phone and searched for Lola's number. She'd be able to help him.

Gracie left work, like normal, that day, going home. She bypassed her family, spread out across the living room, and she darted up to her room. The smile on her face refused to fade, as she turned on the music - We R Who We R by Ke$ha - and turned on the old computer she had been given, after her mother had gotten a new laptop, leaving her with the slow thing left over from the 90s. Her fingers moved quickly across the keyboard, as she typed in her password, waiting for the old machine to start working

He placed the phone back down almost calmly, showing no outer sign of the turmoil within. It was simple, really. He knew what the name Hartsdale meant, had heard it in the thoughts of Company agents previously. It was simple. He just had to go save her.

He paused outside the building - recognising it from earlier memories of his father and other Primatech agents - and wished, for what must have been about the millionth time, that he wasn't powerless. It'd have made this so much easier..... no, it'd made this less impossible. That was closer to the truth. But impossible as it was, he had to at least try.

He shuddered, but once that idea had occured to him, he couldn't throw it away. And maybe it really was the only option.... it'd get him inside, anyway. He'd have to deal with the rest of it later. Now how to get their attention...... previously, he'd have chosen an ability and used it as obviously as he could, but that wasn't possible anymore. He had to find some other way.

He watched the building for a few minutes, tension building up inside him til it was nearly unbearable. When he saw the door open, he couldn't take it anymore. He leapt upon the agent exiting, surprise giving him at least a chance. He noticed the man going to his pocket while trying to shake him off, and he grabbed the taser first. He fired it. Shakily, he dropped the weapon, stepped over the unconscious body and broke into the Company.

He entered as quietly as he could, with every moment expecting to be seen, to be captured. Surely someone would notice him, and realise that someone like him shouldn't be here? Surely he'd used up all his luck just in getting in? He was certain of that, but it didn't seem to be the case. He seemed to be picking all the right paths, and avoiding passing anyone. But he didn't have a clue if he was going the right way to find Lily at all.

He paused at the elevators, but decided not to push his luck by chancing that someone could exit them and see him. He took the stairs instead, and headed downwards, guessing that their cells would be below ground.
