Peter just shook his head, unable to answer. The name didn't mean anything to him, and he didn't recognise the man at all

Peter - how don't you recognise me? What happened to you?

Someone erased his memory, I explained softly, and immediately they both span around to face me. I think they'd both forgotten my presence.

Who? the man - Nathan - demanded at once. I shook my head.

I didn't get a name. He didn't mention it, no one did. But he was black, tall and bald-headed, wearing that necklace, I gestured at it. I could tell immediately from Nathan's expression that he recognised the description.

That Haitian... he whispered softly. He works for the Company, for Primatech.

Who are those? I asked at once.

They're a company..... they work against people.... people with abilities, he explained, though I felt sure he'd been about to say something different at the end there. People like us? Was he like us, too? Noah works for them. Or he used to - I think he left because of Claire.

Neither of us pretty much had a clue about the names he dropped, but we were still listening intently.

Do you think there's a chance I could get my memory back, there? Peter interrupted.

It's a possibility, I shrugged. We could try it, anyway.

(Lola's told Mark that she's pregnant. Teagan woke the next morning and found Nathan breaking into the apartment. Peter still doesn't recognise Nathan, but they've identified Primatech as who the Haitian works for, and are going to go there to see if anything can be done to help him)

Noah mentioned they had a base in Odessa, in his workplace, Nathan answered distractedly. And one somewhere in New York too. And they own part of Kirby Plaza building.

George had been told not to bother going for the sonogram, but the thought stewed in his mind. Eventually, Boston asked what his problem was

Nothing, he said, pulling a stupid monkey face, to prove his point.

You'll be a kick ass father, for that face along, commented Boston, chuckling to himself.

Just.. I don't want to miss the baby's first sonogram, but.. he said. However, Boston cut across his protests, and reasons not to go.

Seeing your baby for the first time is something you can't miss.. Get yourself a ticket, I'll check it under your sickdays, grinned Boston, clapping him on the soldier. George broke into a grateful smile.

Thanking Boston, twice, he grapped his jacket, and moved towards the door, turning around, just as he was about to leave. How the hell do you know what it's like to see your baby for the first time?! yelled George, the thought having just occured to him.

I heard it on TV, replied Boston, straightfaced.

(And I remembered that DL was Mark's cousin, so he should have attended his funeral, but that's gone now, so oh well. I'll just say he did. And it's your fault, anyway, you made me rush to pass the 4MA stage)

Discouraged by the lack of answers in the floor, I moved onto that red statue-fountain thing in the middle of the plaza. I froze almost as soon as I'd touched it, my expression completely disbelieving.
