How? she gasped, her green eyes wide. He had no answer to give. He'd said the truth: when he'd teleported there, to the exact same location they'd left from and the area they'd been fighting in, it'd been completely empty when he'd arrived. No sign of James or Eve. No sign of the agents they'd been up against. No sign of anything at all.

James sighed, for what felt like the millionth time. Locked in a tiny, dim cell, he was growing claustrophobic already. The air actually tasted thin and old. He couldn't stop time, and he couldn't teleport out. He'd tried, over and over. The inability to see his own abilities or sense his metabolism was making him feel nauseous. He was completely trapped.

After endlessly pacing the cell for hours, he finally forced himself to go sit down on the low cot at one end. He tried to force himself to look at the positives. Half of them had gotten out. Elan and David had both vanished. But he knew Eve was here too, captured, and the knowledge was gnawing away at him. He welcomed the footsteps at the door when they came. Whatever they'd do to him, it had to be better than leaving him with his thoughts and his powerlessness here. Even if they questioned him - which they undoubtedly would, he thought. At least he'd get to test himself then.

As the door handle turned, he got to his feet, tensing himself to possibly fight. He knew that it was highly unlikely he'd be able to escape, but he just felt that he had to at least try something. However, the man who entered made him hesitate, made him freeze. There was just something about him, some mysterious aura. Unknowingly, James just waited, watching him.

(I think it should be allowed - a few of my chars have multi abilities here - but Superheroesfanatic is the world mod, ask him.
Recap - we did the storyline of the S1 explosion happening, and up to the 5 years gone episode. Then time got changed, and the characters are now living normal lives, so it's sort of like S2? A few of mine are now trying to fight Primatech.)
