It was early, still, and the place was quiet and quite empty. It didn't help with dispelling her suspicions, at all. She found herself glancing around as if looking for some threat, but she still didn't find it when it came.

Dani finally had Lily ready - she was wearing a casual pink dress, that Dani had lent her, and her hair was tied up, her face was perfect, but looked effortless.

In the silence in that part of the building, the first gunshots were crisp and clear as they tore through the air. She lept to her feet immediately, reflexively twisting the air around her to deflect away any threat which could possibly be near her. Seconds later, the gunshots were being drowned out by screams.

His worried soon went at the sound of gunshots. "What is that?" He asked, leaping to his feet. Lavender was unsure and went to the window to take a glimpse outside.

She ran in the direction of the screams, recognising some of them as the screams of people who'd be in physical pain and not just frightened, or even terrified. Finding the first - a teenage boy she sort of recognised from the last weeks - she knelt beside him and began healing.

Wondering what all the commotion was about, Lauren followed the crowd to the source of the noise. Bullets began flying, and a few collided, as the group shattered - Christian and Lauren starting racing towards the school, inside, to shelter, while Lily and Dani moved outside

Lavender then rushed with Warren as he ran downstairs. He soon saw Sky healing a teenage boy. "Who shot him?" He asked, needing an answer. He was sure the boy would be alright as he too was healping to heal him.

Lavender insisited in taking him, grabbing hold of the body in her arms quite easily and runnind to the decorative plant in the corner, fading away.

Once Lav had taken the boy, Sky moved on, searching for more and more people to heal. It seemed there were thousands. She ran into a group of the fighters, hearing the gunfire just in time, she dropped to her knees, and manipulated the bullets backwards using her late mother's ability.

Heart hammering, she got to her feet again, and carried on. She didn't spare even a glance at the bullet-ridden bodies she left behind, struck by their own shots. It'd been their fault, anyway. Or that was what she was trying to convince herself. She suspected she'd fail in that if she let herself look too closely.

All the bullets continued to fire, although he could be unharmed by them he still ran. It was instinct to run from death. But he stopped himself, seeing the effects of what they were doing. He ripped off his t-shirt and loosened the brace that kept his wings covered. Warren ran upstairs and jumped out the window, unseen.

She moved on, finding another student injured, healing the child and sending her back inside. She moved on again, searching for wherever the fighting seemed thickest. She didn't think of the possible danger to herself, some instinctual urge of being a leader driving herself forwards.

Lavender had returned, becoming visible from a bush. She now had her weapon, her bow and arrow and began attacking from the upstairs. She was trained in this and not like usual nymphs, she was more fierce, more deadly. Much stronger.

She moved on, deeper and deeper into the fighting, using air to tie the opponents up, and dragging the oxygen from their bodies. Again, she had to fight against her own remorse as she saw them falling, reminding herself that these were people who'd shoot at even children. Sensing some sudden danger, she threw herself to the floor and curled into a ball, narrowly avoiding the blast of a thrown grenade.

Warren swooped down from the air, seeing the one who was nearly cloe to attacking Sky. He grabbed the man and lifted him higher in the air, let him go and watched him drop from the sky.

As another man turned to fire at her, she again threw the bullets backwards, hearing them smashing into his chest. He fell, an expression of disbelief frozen on his face. He hadn't really believed that the students here really had these abilities. She raced on, finding yet more and more people to fight.

Again, she threw herself backwards at another tugging instinct, narrowly missing another round of bullets. Her heart was racing, adrenaline flooding through her system. She knew she'd missed death more times this hour than most others would in a lifetime. She was lucky she had missed, too. Falling to the floor beneath another unmoving body, she healed another fighter and then raced on, always keeping moving. More and more of the students were falling every minute, or giving up and retreating to somewhere safer.

Lavender too was on the battlefield, shooting with each arrow a man after another. It was easy for her, being that they were on her playing field and she could manipulate the very ground beneath them.

She shook her head, knowing that they were all too young to be fighting, dying here. Only a handful were even overage. But they didn't have a choice. These men didn't seem to have a qualm about their victims' ages. She saw one grabbing a young girl, tying her up and dragging her away. She threw a galewind at the man, throwing him backwards, miles. She raced over to untie the girl.

Helping her away, Sky was thrown backwards yet again, by the blast of another grenade. She lost the girl, and only managed to save herself by reflexively manipulating the air to land and protect her. She looked around wildly, seeing all the men flooding in, highly armed and dressed like what she'd call some sort of agents. She could see them taking more and more prisoners, too many for her to save.
