    What about him? he asked, indicating his head to where Rajan was currently feigning sleep. I can't leave him here alone, the lab isn't exactly childproof.

    Maury rolled his eyes.

    I can childmind, I guess, he answered grudgingly, silently adding "or pass it on to Flint, anyway". Just go!

    Even though he wasn't sure if he could trust Maury, Mohinder couldn't find a way to refuse, so he just obeyed. He left the room. Within minutes, Maury'd done the same, leaving Rajan alone while going to delegate that task to Flint.

    Flint's complaints about it were a lot more vocal, as at first he refused to do anything to do with the "stupid kid". It'd have made his sister glad she'd never asked him to ever babysit Claire as a child, if she'd have heard. Listening, Rajan only looked at him stupidly, and continued to play.

    Flint then basically proceeded to ignore the child, grumbling quietly to himself about this particular job, and how Parkman had probably telepathed him into accepting it. And he was right about that, too. He didn't pay much attention when the infant began crawling around, having released himself from the pen, and headed towards one of the formula vats. Neither did he notice when Rajan tipped said vat over, and began splashing around happily in the pretty red liquid.

    Joyfully, he continued to paddle around in it, splashing it all over himself and all over the place, while grinning, and laughing wildly. It was only when Mohinder returned that this was noticed, and he immediately raced to scoop him up out of it.

    He'd suspected it even before, but the second he touched his son's skin, he knew it, knew that even that much exposure to the formula was enough and that Rajan now had abilities too. But he didn't say anything, just placed him back in his pen, securing that once more, and started cleaning up.

    Micah'd spent the last few months back in New Orleans, living near his cousins and great-aunt, since he and Niki'd moved there soon after he'd found she was back alive. He was currently trying to help Monica on one of her St Joan escapades, technopathically keeping an eye out for her and guiding her. He'd intercepted a few police calls and sent the details on to her cell. But somehow, he couldn't find himself focusing completely on that, just something kept tugging his attention away.

    He'd spent hours by now, trying to ignore the tugging, but that just made it grow stronger and stronger. It was almost unbearable, by now. Try as he might to keep his attention on the computer and helping Monica, it kept dragging him away.
