Phoenixes

At least some phoenixes are human-formed, although it is unknown if others have the more traditional avian appearance. The human ones look like normal people, and usually try to pass as human. However, they can never die, as they burst into flames upon death and then reform. Sometimes it can take a few days for them to reform, sometimes it is immediate. They also have an affinity with fire, can create it, can use it to heal smaller wounds and regain energy.

Cool species, both Phoenixes and the World-leapers. However, on the World-leapers one couldn't they have an talent that makes it easier for them to understand these worlds once they have traveled to them.. Not that they immediately understand it, but that they can faster learn about them and see similarities and differences between the worlds.

I'd imagine that they'd adapt to a new world quite quickly, yeah

A being who is able to see the future.

Weirdly, I didn't think that at all It's more parallel worlds than time and space.

I think it was more of going to different worlds and being able to know the language and customs of the world.

Well, they do adapt to the new worlds, but it's also different timelines and alternate universes kinda thing.

Changelings, (They are not like Lowri's Ataris )

A main group of fairy-like creatures that once were human, now they are half-human, half-fairy . These creatures were taken sometime during their human-life by the evil "True Fairies" which is creatures made of magic and mystery. They were taken to another fantasy land with twisted surroundings wherever one looked. There, they slowly became more and more like their fairy captors, however they were still human. They were tortured in all ways possible before they got enough and tried to escape. Somehow they managed to flee and enter the human world once again. However, they were forgotten by everyone. Because of their time in this mysterious world, they have appearance features and some powers associated with fantasy creatures.

Cool It was the idea of the human being stolen away by the change which made me originally chose the name Changeling.

Any name suggestions for the species Jyiara, Atharn and Meresu will belong to? Nephilim Witches? Or a new made-up word?

Also, any suggestions for what Mikala and Caden's kids would be, half Nephilim and half Shifter?

I think Nephilim witches sounds good, but I'd recommend just another angel-y sounding word for Nephilim Shifters cos it sounds kinda weird

Lycanthropes (for W6)

These are distantly related to werewolves, but are not controlled by the phases of the moon and are feral all the time. They also just have a more feral but human appearance, instead of actually turning into wolves or any animal form. The species is spread by bite or scratch.

If I made up characters/a species for W6 which had a power something like Absorption or Draining, would I just list them as possessing that ability or make up a new species name for them?

It wouldn't be any ability we already have, exactly, though - they can drain energy, life and abilities, but unlike Draining they gain the powers, and unlike Absorption they can't absorb other stuff like memories or history. They'd also be driven to do so/need to drain to live.

could we also do like pet species? Like a lightning bird?

I'd need to know what a lightning bird is to even come close to answering that, sorry

But what'd pet species be, different from normal species? If you've got a character that species, then it's a species
