Hi Pippa, I whispered quietly, smiling at the look of total shock on her face. As you might have guessed, I didn't die - it was a trick. You're only the fifth person to know though.

Finally, I let go of her, just to make sure it was really Saph that I was hugging. You're alive.. You're definitely alive? I checked, not sure if I was still in doubt or just too happy to really believe it.

I think I am.... I answered, grinning. I went on to explain how we'd fooled Pinehearst into thinking that they'd caught and executed me.

However, as I explained, new problems struck me, and I began frowning. I dragged my words to a halt.

What's wrong? Peter asked.

I didn't realise before, I didn't think.... but if Pippa knows about me....

I didn't follow at first, and even when I did, I remained silent.. By knowing this I was putting them in even more danger. I'm sorry, I apologised immediately

I shook my head.

You'd be the one who's in danger, I pointed out.

I'd just have to hide again like we did last year.... I began arguing.

Maybe not, Peter interrupted. I could shield Pippa's mind like John did ours.

You can do that? I asked, feeling the relief already - feeling the guilt already begin to wash away.

Yeah, got it from someone else fighting with us, he replied, already forming the mind shield. By now, we'd stopped caring about everything we were revealing. It could be hidden anyway.

You're - there's no risk? I double checked, knowing I didn't want there to be any way I could put either of them in danger

Everything will be hidden now, I nodded. All of us have one of those shields.

How many of you are there? I asked, curiously

I haven't really counted, I admitted. And it tends to change... getting less, every time.

I think it's about forty of us now, Peter answered.

I was playing happy families in the suburbs with my boyfriend and son. But yet again, I knew that with Saph alive, I had no justifiable reason to risk Noah's life.. No way I could put him through that.

(You keep doing it though, and we all know she can't start fighting til at least after IABD)

(I know, I don't actually have much plot for her until then that's why I adopted Kaylee, after my genius idea to kill off my only main character with a story)
