A few weeks had passed by now since my supposed death. No one else had found out the truth since I'd told Pippa. I was actually succeeding in keeping the secret, now. I'd forced myself to resist the constant temptation to go out and run, and I was barely leaving the apartment except to go on raids. Those were my new way of blowing off steam.
As usual, I was just wasting time in my self-imposed lockdown, with the TV on the background. I didn't pay much attention until I realised that the news was covering the election results. I then remembered that my unknown brother in law had been running. In the lead in polls, too.

That reminder made me pay attention, and I soon realised that they were building up to the big announcement. Curiosity made me listen. Well, curiosity and the surreal thoughts in my head. When it was announced, I knew those thoughts were real.

(Pinehearst found out Saph's identity and they tried to kill her, but she and Peter tricked them so that they think they succeeded when they failed. Almost everyone thinks she's dead now. Pippa's just found out she isn't. Kayleigh's still trying to find a way to bring Noah back. Nathan's been elected President)

Silence was too much to ask for, nothing ever was right. Not when your loved one had passed away. What was worse than that? Dying yourself- No. Family dying, although how miserable and pain killing it would be, it isn't the same. Having that person there, the person you let read the written pages of your heart, that very person who knew you for who you were and them the same was the only person who matter'd in the world. The bird began to chirp and jumped from letter to letter on the keyboad. "It's me." The message showed on the screen. Claude couldn't believe what he was seeing, he looked to the bird who was struggling to barely fly with its broken wing. It reminded him of the pain that Lizzie had went through when she injured her arm. "Lizzie." He whispered to it.

"Is that you dear?" Claude asked desperately. He opened out his hands to allow the small green bird to jump into them. The bird sat there, its head bobbed up and down as if it acknowledged what Claude had said. Claude burst into tears, how could this of been possible. How? He had loved Lizzie so much and now she was back, alive, trapped in the body of a bird.
"How?" He asked to both himself and the bird he thought to be his lover.

The bird teweeted and chirped but Claude didn't understand. A melody came from the creamy beak of the bird, Claude shook his head.
"I don't know what you're saying." He said.
Hopping out of his hands, the green bird jumped to the computer and typed on the screen. "I died and woke up like this im stuck".

All of this seemed unreal, but the Caude's entire life was unreal. He lived in a world of excitement, danger, power, fear, the entire aura of emotions mixed together but this was nothing he had foreseen.

(kind of but she is stuck on the body. When she died she moved her consciousness into the nearest animal that she could find, which was a baby bird in its egg ontop of the building.)

Claude didn't know what to do, what should he do? He cared for animals dearly and was this tiny broken-winged green bird to be his pet like his pigeons or to be something else? He couldn't love a bird could he? The very fact that his lovers body was trapped inside an animal was confusing, mind-boggling, painful and glorious that she was still alive yet most of all it was still heart-breaking. He couldn't be with her like he use to, they couldn't be a couple again, how could they? Claude looked at the small beady eye's of Lizzie and kissed her tiny cream beak.
