They do kill them, but anything will, really. Haven't I already taught you that? And anyway, he or she is human most of the time, so we'll try identification first and rationalising with him or her.... only go for the kill if he or she refuses to deal with it.

Lance opened his mouth, speechless and when realizing he was looking like a fool, he closed his mouth but then opened them again. Either, A, his friend was a lunatic or B, she was telling the truth.
"Great, either my social sphere is built up by lunatics or the world is full of monsters." Lance said sarcastically, gesutring wildly with his hands.
"Hey, focus. You saw what that thing did to you, so if I am a lunatic, so are you. So let's get to work destroying it."
Lance nodded, hating himself from agreeing to him being a lunatic.
"So, what do you do to a Naga?"
"I don't know."
"I won't say how to do your job, but when doing a job, a person usually knows how to do it, otherwise one is in the majority of cases, a goner."
"I said I didn't know, but Scar may have some ideas."
"Scar?" Lance asked, almost laughing at the name.
"Yeah, our group leader."
"So there's where we are going?"
Vicky nodded.
Lance decided to not argue about it right at the moment, instead he focused on not fainting when the reality of it all kicked in. Soon, Vicky parked beside a pretty basic, but nice, cabin in the middle of the dark forest. It was a bit creepy. Like a home for the stereotypical, paranoid, old man, with a rifle, that hunts rabbits and stuff. However, this Scar probably didn't focus on rabbits.
"Is Scar a paranoid old man with a rifle that have a cynical sense of humor?" Lance anxiously asked as they approached the cabin.
Vicky went to knock on the door. "How did you know?"
"Let's just say I had a feeling."
Vicky knocked.

How do we go about recognising this wolf, then? Anya asked, changing the subject slightly.
I'll make up a map of the exact locations of these attacks, try to pinpoint somewhere central. And we'll find out if there's anything or anyone all the victims had in common. Look into anyone who never has an alibi during a full moon, too.

He'd been trying to save up for somewhere better, but he knew he wouldn't be able to afford it for several months, possibly years.
Anya agreed to that arrangement, and they both hung up. She began researching the victims online while she waited for her brother's arrival.

Anya nodded, turning to the map she'd already pulled out and beginning to place pins marking all the victims' homes, workplaces and the locations where their bodies had been discovered.
All of those last ones were within 5 minutes' walk from that park, Blaine indicated. And two of them lived near it, too.

Anya agreed to the suggestion, and phoned ahead to book a meeting with the workers. She altered reality to prevent them from finding it suspicious. Then she and Blaine drove to the park, entered their little office and began looking around.
