Dorian smirked, pulling his friend up the stairs until eventually laying him down in the corridor. He tried to do what he could but Donny was no real help, since he could hardly see the damage done to his leg. He recommended Dorian go back downstairs in one of his bouts of consciousness but he waited until he heard the worrying scream.
I'll just take you outside, you should be fine there, said Dorian, handing his friend back his gun and surrounding him in salt before rushing back downstairs. Once again plunged into darkness, he fumbled around trying to find someone. The scream had been Nayeli's, but when he finally found them, she was still chanting the same sentences, Pretty girl, dying girl, sad girl. Time not done, girl should live. Why won't she live? Wants to live. Let her live.
Ever the optimist, remarked Dorian and Dexter managed an audible smirk. Any idea where Isaac and Seth have got to?
Nah, said Dexter. I think they were headed..
Nayeli raised a hand, gesturing in a silence motion that shut forcefully Dexter right up. A bouncing green light appeared in the darkness. She didn't verbally instruct Dorian but he saw the light begin to drift away and followed it. He kept the phone alight to lead the way and make sure he didn't trip up, gun loaded in the other hand. He started calling out to Seth and Isaac, hoping they'd be nearby.
