The music channel came on. Take That had started to sing, I wasn't listening until I closed my eyes. Stopped wtaching the stars. I re-opened hearing the lyrics. "All the stars are coming out tonight. They're lighting up the sky tonight for you, for you." I sighed, holding my family in my arms.

I noticed Cody starting to squirm around, becoming ore irratable in his sleep. I watched him, scared. He was having a nightmare, becoming more aggitated whilst his hands and feet shaked, his body starteing to figit. Cody. I said, hoping he would wake. He didn't. Codes. I said again, my voice now scared.
My hand reached out to touch him. As my hand touched his skin his eyes struck open and his upper body leapt up. He looked at me, hugging me for safety. What is it Codes? A bad dream? I asked, hoping the cuddle will make him feel better as always.
He nodded, seperating from the hig and signing.
It's my fault for them dying.
He said, crying, then hugging me.
No. no no. It's nobody's fault. It's just that stuff happens, people die. It's the way of life. But don't worry Cody because they are all up there. In the skies, beyond the mountains, with the stars.

I tried to ensure him that it will all be ok, and gave him a cuddle. I could see that he couldn't really get to sleep, so gently stood up, trying not to wake Tracy and Ashleigh and picked up Cody. Shall I read you a story? I asked, switching off the telly and drawing the curtains. I left the lamp on, and started making my way upstairs in my pale blue pyjama bottom and top. My feet were bare, brushing past the soft carpet as I entered his room.
His room was dark, the stars that glowed in his room gave off a dim light. He sat on his bed, refusing to tuck inside of it. You still scared? I asked, stopping my search in his book shelf.

I know, it's..... he sighed, but there isn't anywhere without memories, not really.....
Despite his words, his hands were trembling as he unlocked the door, and he could barely make his body move to step inside. The memories seemed to hit him with the force of a steamroller the second he was over the threshold. Turning around, he could see from his sisters' faces that they felt the same.

I don't think there's anywhere we can run off to, answered Hayley, her voice dead. She understood fully what her sister wanted, why. But it didn't seem to be possible. The memories weren't in the house or the building, they were inside them.
