I don't know.. He was with Lyle, and I found them.. They were both dying. I saved Lyle, but Ryan.. it was too late, there was nothing I could do to save him

Yeah, the human, she nodded. She couldn't find enough of her own pain to need to grieve Ryan's death - yes, it was sad, it was tragic, and horrible, but.. she had only met the lion a two or times times, and one of them had been his death bed

Avril sighed again - mourning a man she had barely known was hard, but not impossible. She felt weighed down by his death, the pain he had suffered, the pain Charlotte was now suffering.. most likely. She still hadn't checked
