She was barely aware as she began wandering through the streets, not wanting to return home just yet. No one questioned the tears on her cheeks even if they noticed them, but they angrily yelled and shoved her away when she accidentally walked into them.

Liz put Shiv down for her nap and rang Adam, who informed her of how well he had been doing at his new job, all the new friends he had made. Liz made a few jokes about how he was treating it like school then they progressed into making plans they were never going to do

Looking upwards, she thought that she recognised the apartment building she was standing opposite now. Like someone she knew lived there, or had..... and a recent person, too. Not someone she'd known before. She stopped, moving to the corner of the sidewalk, trying to distract herself by working it out.

Shiv awoke and Liz had to let Cat into her room to make her go back to sleep, since she refused to sleep otherwise. Cat, whilst still worryingly talkative, appeared to be able to create fantastic bedtime stories and was a great guard cat

At first, she wondered if it'd been where Sean and Sinead had lived firstly, but she quickly dismissed that idea. After all, she'd lived there too, if only for a few months. It was someone else.... some friend. That David bloke? No.... one of the Jones family, she thought. Liz? Adam? She wasn't sure. She thought that since she was here, she might as well go say hi, though.

Heading to the building, she then remembered that she didn't have a clue which floor, never mind which apartment number. She decided she'd go ahead though, even if she tried every one and made a complete fool of herself. She'd begin at the top.
