The girl lifted her head, hearing another aproaching. Swiftly, she rehid the food canisters, and got to her feet. An old defensive instinct made her raise her hand, a familiar spark beginning to form.

Who's there?

They sat down, on a tree branch, and sipped the coffee. OK, things we need to do. We need to find out how Martin and Damien are, ASAP. And, if we are going to be president, I am guessing, we hit a certain Mr. Nathan Petrelli, because, he will be voted president. I am sure. I have got a feeling.. Last night.... never mind. I wonder if Elan surived, or Dwanye, or Daniel.

(Joshy, you can fly over us, we are just outside, in a tree!)

Dad... Dad. I'm getting hungry and... could we try and find food instead of shelter?

Martin swivells round, the fire glows in his hands madly. His face is lit up amongst the burn pavement, illuminating some of the street.
Get your own food. I'll just try and put a roof over our heads, some protection. Take care of yourself Damien, but don't come crawling back when you need a bed to sleep on or someone to talk to. You just go and look after your own bloody back. he growls angrily. Martin isn't in the mood and Damien knows it.


Damien turns around, his face slashed with un-happiness. He wishes that he had his mother with him, to cuddle him, to tell him that everything was ok and to find food with him. But Damien already accepts the harsh fact that she is dead, and wanders over to a puddle, which he electrocutes fiercly. He waits a couple of seconds for it to cool down, and splashes the warm water over his face and hands to clean himself, then sets off away from his father to find something to eat.

(Jakey, what? Martin left Damien?)

((Basically, yeah. Because he was getting sick of tidying up after him when he asks for things. Why Damien wanted to live with Cathy))

(We are gonna find him, then u, OK?)

OK, let's go find Martin and Damien, then. Pippy grips his arm, and thinks of Damien.

((Okay))

Damien slouches against the wall of what was the outside of his mothers apartment. He considered going there, and living there instead of out on the streets.
He clambers up the half collapsed stairs, and kicks through the weak door into his mothers apartment and screams as he glances at her body, her forehead removed and the top lying close to her feet.

They appear in the apartment, and there stands Damien. Damien, Damien, Damien. Are you OK? Where is your dad?

Damien, we have no idea who did this. It was defiantly not your dad. pippy quickly messes with his mind so that he doesn't think that.

Damien, where is your daddy?

I don't know and to be honest I couldn't give a shit where that loony is. Damien sobs. All I know is that the only woman that ever cared for me is dead.

Damien. He cared about it. And what happened to your mum, it wasn't his fault. Pippy swithces his memories so he remembers that his dad loved him, and forgot his mum.

I know what you're doing but I still don't know where he is. Damien begins to walk out of the room, not wanting to stare at his mother's half decapitated body any longer, and takes the stairs to the ground floor.
The stairs creak as Damien goes down them, and he hears Pippy and Gabriel talking, before walking down the corridor to the stairs. As Damien reaches the halfway point in the stairs, they give in and collapse, and the little boy falls down five stories of ash and derbis.

Gabriel hears the noise. Damien?!

JAKE IS DAMIEN DEAD?!

((Sorry I didnt reply. I didnt plan for him to be dead, just very seriously injured.))

They race down the stairs to the injuryed boy at the bottom. Damien, Damien? We need a doctor!!!

Martin sits down, haven giving up building his shelter.
After a while he gets bored, so sends up a clearly visible beam of red electricity, folllowed by a shot of fire.
