Martin wanders the streets, no idea that his son is fighting for his life in Los Angeles and desparatley needing help to survive.
He leaves, burning his shelter to cover his tracks. People stare at him but he looks straight into the flames. They flicker, their orange light glowing madly amongst the charred and black street. They are the only true, feeling life he thinks. Fire can never die he chuckles.
As he exits the street, he notices two men dressed smartly in ties. They have big black sunglasses covering their eyes, and eirpieces in their ears.
"There he is... whispers one man to the other. "He set that dump on fire with his bare hands, he's one of them.
Martin knows that this was coming, it was in his dreams. He also dreams of the woman he tried to save in Kirby Plaza, and how he had nearly died from radiation poisoning after running into the open.
Martin see's the men bring out pistols and advances towards the guards.
"Hands up and you won't get killed, freak.
Martin stares at the man, knowing that in his dream he dies because he listens.
I said, hands up.
Fire grows in Martins hands almost unknowingly.
Time to fly, boys.
