While Carita waits, she checks her phone to see if the wolves have replied to her text. Nope. She sighs.

We're attacking the Hunters, confirmed Avril.

We wait for Tannith's opinions, and for when she returns, but she won't be long, hopefully.

After many days, Tannith re-emerged from her trance. She blinked. Her hand seemed to be connected to someone. She looked. Another woman was there, who appeared a lot like Tracy. Her mother?

Suddenly, the smell of the woman's blood hit her, and she ran out of the room.

Avril? Phillipe? Jack? Anyone?

(I sent one asking for their advice ages ago)

"Do we need any more help? I know a wolf pack, who no one has asked questions about surprisingly, considering it's such an unusual thing. Hang on, is that Tannith?"

Tannith? They sprinted upstairs, but Ellen stayed put, not wanting to get in the way.

Bea picked up her mobile, and replied to the text, saying: Hey, glad your OK. We want to help. Where in Japan? xxxx

Carita doesn't sprint upstairs as she recieves a strange text. She replies and sits down on a couch and and waits for an answer.

"Why wouldn't I be? What are you on about?"

Carita decided to go upstairs whilst she was waiting so she said tata to Ellen for now and climbed the stairs and took a shortcut through a secret passage through the house to come out in the corridor behind the others.

"Days and days..."

"The lovebirds went out hunting one day and were attacked by hunters. They fought them off and now they're determined to eliminate all the hunters here. Then a new vampire called Ellen appeared and says she has seen all our pasts and futures and she will fight with us and then join the Malus. Also, before this, Tracy got PMT for the first time and was suicidal for a bit with all the crazy emotions but I helped her. We had a girls' night in watching Titanic and then we had a pillow fight. Oh yeah, and I've manifested!" Carita grins.

"I'll show you but I'll need a volunteer." Carita grinned, almost glowing with happiness. She loved her ability. "I have no idea. They're still discussing it. I've texted my werewolf friends asking for help but they sent a weird reply."

Carita gladly accepted the change of subject. She pushed the thought of a confrontation with the Hunters out of her mind and smiled what she hoped was a reassuring smile at Tannith.

"Yes, fairly. Avril said it doesn't hurt, it's just slightly uncomfortable. do you still want to go ahead?"

"Ok, here goes. 3, 2, 1-"

Carita formed a bow and arrow out of the golden, shimmering energy, the bow in her left, the arrow in her right. She then fired the arrow at Tannith. The arrow sunk into her and the golden ripple flashed over her from where the arrow struck before it was absorbed into her. She was instantly paralysed, unable to move, use her ability, talk or even think properly. She could breathe if she wanted to and thinking was like trying to swim through fudge.

Carita flitted over and touched her arm. She closed her eyes in concentration and a moment later, Tannith was free.

"How was it?" asked Carita, curious.

(NB: The arrows leave no physical damage so targets do not bleed to death, they are only paralysed.)

"Yes, exactly. I can make other weapons too but so far I can only make these daggers. Philippe thinks I could make other weapons too."

Here Carita forms the daggers, one in each hand, and then absorbs the energy again. She smiled happily.

"So, how was Heaven?"

(Hi IR. Not much to recap really.)

"Nothing else yet. I'm thinking of trying to get a spear.

A lot of light? Just like in all the stories? You managed it? Great...

You never told us, well you never told me that you had a sister. I hope you don't mind me asking... but how did it happen?"

Carita was glad that Tracy Snr had been brought back, but also worried that her relationship with Tracy would change. After all, she had her own mother now. She might not want her any more...

Yeah, really. Maybe I couldn't see much because I wasn't really dead?

No, I don't mind. She.....she got turned into a vampire too, the same time as I did, but she didn't survive it. It made her body sort of turn on itself and kill her......
