I'd rather........have to cope with the limits mine gives me, but be able to use the rest to fight and to defend my people......than be free of it and have an excuse to stand by and watch what's happening to us.

The world is like this because some bigots in power would rather imprison and kill even CHILDREN for something they were born with, and can't help, than take the risk that something else could happen!! They're the monsters!!!! At least Peter didn't mean to kill, he was even willing to die to try to stop it. Which is more than I can say for them!
