She glanced around the small square they'd chosen as a meeting place, waiting. James had said that he'd teleport himself and Eve to somewhere clearer nearby, and then they'd go get David. And then they'd attack this Primatech. It had to be done. It had to be stopped. Every inch of her knew that, and so she waited for the others.

As they both appeared, she embraced them both, greeting them and thanking them both for coming yet again, though they refused it and said they couldn't have done anything else. She nodded, understanding that feeling. It was still good to have more allies, however. They teleported again, going to get David, and then they appeared outside the building. It wasn't anything conspicuous, nothing to give away its meaning or purpose, nothing to betray even in the thoughts of most going in and out. But they all knew it was it. Time to attack.

She looked up at the building, recognising it from Dann's memories, and swallowed away the sudden anxiety at how imposing it seemed. The immensity of what they would attempt was only just striking her. Not that she'd hesitate. She couldn't. And she could sense the same mixture of anxiety and determination in the thoughts of the other 3, too. They were looking at her to lead. Well, she knew she could do that. Grasping some images of the interior from the mind of a passing worker - the images which seemed deepest within - she passed these to James and asked him to teleport them in. He did so. They vanished in a flash.

Once inside, she split them into 2 teams. James and David would seek out the heart of this place, and cause as much damage as they could. She'd run herself and Eve to the underground prison levels, and set them all free.

The 2 raced downwards, barreling past any agents too swiftly for them to react. They arrived at the levels. The main door was locked, but Elan broke that with one arc of electricity. She TKed it open, and they raced in, beginning to look around. There were cells on either side, stretching out forever, it seemed. The corridor went on for longer than their eyes could see. It seemed neverending.

I stood at the back entrance of the building, wearing all black. I knew I needed to come here, to this building to find out more. My eyes scanned the building and I already found the perfect passage to go to.

Turning to the first of the cells, she electrocuted the lock, breaking it open too. Again she broke the door off, just as she'd done with the main one. The man inside raised his arm threateningly, but Eve intervened, persuading him to leave them two alone, and go into the main building and cause havoc. He did so.

After watching the man leave, Elan turned her attention back to the next cell, breaking it open just like she'd done to the first. She did this to 10, 20 others. The inmates flooded out. But it was slow work, and there was much more to be done. She'd electrocuted all of the alarms and the cameras upon entry, but still suspected an alarm would be raised and they'd have company before long. Surely there had to be a faster way to do this? Looking around for one, she noticed a control panel hidden on the opposite wall, and grinned.

I was now in the building, finding the best path of way to go in the building, in order to evade company. I noticed some people running, but they didn't see me. I continued on.

She ran over to the control panel, telekinetically breaking it open and exposing all the wiring. If she could overload this, she'd shortcircuit the electricity - and the locks, and the alarms - in every cell. Maybe throughout the building. Her grin widened as she raised her hands and began pouring out electricity through both palms, straight into the wiring. It flowed and flowed, building and crecendoing, a stronger power than she'd ever produced before.

I noticed that each light was going one by one. I stayed quiet, silently quiet in case someone came my way or heard me. I was ony hear to find out information but it seemed more things were going on that I had anticipated.

After searching rather aimlessly for a while, they regathered, and decided to go search for David and James once more. After all, no alarm had been raised so far - or they'd managed to evade one - but Elan suspected that this was down to more luck than judgement. They couldn't trust to luck for much longer. They'd seen the price of doing so before.

Regathering herself, Elan began retracing her steps, returning to where they'd parted from the other 2. They were again moving too swiftly for any pursuit - unless, of course, there happened to be another agent with that ability there. Elan shook her head at that. No point musing over whatifs. Finding the others would have been much simpler if she'd still had Trailing, too, but she couldn't let herself wish for it.

Tara woke up, and for a moment, she thought she was at home - she felt at home, completly, perfectly, serenly at home. But one simple glance up at whose chest she was lying on, and she knew she had made a big mistake.
