Tessa laughed scoffingly.

Cassidy watched almost in amazement as Pippy began working on the food - she realised eventually that the woman had long since worked out that watching a few simple cooking programmes was easier than learning to cook probably. She tried to help as Pippy began making batches of potato salad, normal salad and other kinds of salad she couldn't even identify as well as laying out platters of meats. To get out of her hair, Cassidy offered to run to the store and buy out all of the burger buns they had for sale. When she returned, she saw that Pippy had moved on to arranging the food and positioning the table that would be labelled bar. Feeling oddly under-prepared as both were already dressed, Cassidy slunk away to her room to get ready. By the time she got back downstairs, she saw that most people had arrived - Alex, however, had not

Cassidy answered, seeing how Pippy was still teleporting around arranging the garden furniture. Hello! she said cheerfully when she saw the people on the other side.

Hi, I grinned. Pippy going crazy with the decorating again?

Always, I commented, briefly appearing beside them just long enough to greet before teleporting away again.
