Read minds? Is that how you know about me? I don't know what it is, but I've found I've been....better....physically, recently. Like faster, stronger, better balance and senses, that kind of thing. I can fight, and climb, too.

It was the next day by now. Sapphire'd spent it chasing after her younger siblings, keeping them out of mischief, but feeling that she was wasting her gift, wasting her life, wasting herself. She returned to her room, pulling out a box from underneath the cotbed. She removed the lid. Pulling out a thin piece of card, she played this between her fingers. She snuck down to borrow the house phone, and dialled the number written on the card.

Angela was in Bob's apartment, sleeping on a blanket spread over a couch. She was dreaming of the future of her Company. In her dream, she saw them finish negotiating buying the house and building. She saw glimpses of faces of employees for the cover company, Primatech Papers. Then, she saw others, ones that would join them to become the founders of the real company. She saw their faces. Lastly, she saw employees for the real company. Some were scientists, some were agents. She tried to remember them.
With a jump she woke and rushed to write down her dream in a notepad.
