They all nodded, and hugged their cousin goodbye. Falling asleep was painful, but they were all tried, and drifted off pretty soon.

The night dragged on, no one in the house able to sleep. Nathan tossed and turned, trying to find oblivion, but haunted by the reality of tomorrow. He turned once more, seeing the glowing light of the digital clock display. 4am.

    (Hence the song)

The hours passed by, dragging almost torturously. Still he couldn't sleep. No one could. It was almost a relief when dawn broke and they could rise.

Knowing the funeral was here, Abbie teleported.... to a place she had never wanted to go. Every touch gave her a past. All the photos covering her old desk. Abbie's parents, on their wedding day. Them at their anniversary party. There was a huge group photo, with a small, little Gabriella, smiling shyly at the camera. One of the four of them, smiling stuipidly at the camera and the person holding it. Tears rolled from her eyes, and dropped onto the photoframe and the glass, protecting the pictures she had held so dear, as she thought of all they had lost.

She looked at the desk. It was a mess. No one had dared enter this room, since her death. It was filled with it, empty shadows. Scars of where she should have been. She stared down, at the open file on the desk. She wasn't reading it, until she reached the signature at the bottom of the page. She reached forward, blinking to clear her eyes of tears, so she could focus on the fine print.

No one spoke a word, as they dressed in dark sombre clothes befitting the mood, and silently went to wake the children. They too were sombre, sensing the mood, the significance of the day. Hayley silently hugged her brother and future-sister-in-law, wordlessly wishing she could give impossible comfort.

There were blueprints underneath it, and it all made sense. These were the plans, complete and up to date. The ideas. Everything. Something she had never known her mother had wanted..... Something she was sure she did want. The history of the paper told her of much, and she didn't smile, knowing what she needed to do. Abbie needed to honour her memory, and now, she had a prefect way. She could live everyday, twice, if she needed to. To complete everyone's dreams.... to finish the plans her mother hadn't got to.

    ( Sad )

They were all ready far too soon. Ready, ready to say goodbye, to let go and to do what should be impossible. Dani sighed, feeling out of place this day, the only one within the family who was not mourning her parents.

She put them down, filing them in her top drawer, locking it tightly, so no one could disturb them. She returned home, and dressed, slowly, every movement causing pain to her heart. It took her a while to realise she had gotten the whole "home".

She disentangled herself, and teleported away.

After a long...long break from reality I put on my suit ready to leave, to go to a funeral of a friend.

    "Where are you going?"

I didn't answer I ignored her, on purpose

"When are you going to start speaking to me..?"

    I put my tie on

]"When you take back what you did"

    She sighed

"It was one mistake Josh! You know he used his ability, but you chose to ignore that!"

"Just, don't talk to me. Don't wait up, I'll be at the pub all day." I said slamming the door behind me

    Shocked @ Josh and Lydia!!!

Abbie sighed, and went to find her brothers. Both were already dressed in suits, waiting for.... well, her.

Nathan sighed. The funeral wouldn't be until the afternoon, but he needed to go to the house, to make it ready for the wake afterwards. Gathering the 3 children, he transported there.

The second they entered, the emptiness and the loss hit him like a brick wall, like every other time he'd been here since their deaths. But it was more now, more tangible, more real, more final. It filled the very air, making breathing difficult.

Hayley crawled away, creating white roses in vases scattered around the house. Nathan sighed as he saw that: he knew what she was doing. This was her small tribute to their lost parents.
